Tikkunim, Jewish Roots, Ecological Art, is a ten artist, group show curated by Tamar Benzikry-Stern. "Tikkunim," according to the press release, "refers to tikkun olam, the ancient Hebrew expression that has become a catch-all for healing, mending, repairing the world and improving society through social activism." The works span a range of media, including photography, sculpture, and collage.

This gorgeous book stitches together an Arabic school child's text (recovered from a San Francisco dump) with the author's own childhood Hebrew book.
