Nate Robinson Does It Again

When I fill out my taxes this year, I think I'll be listing my occupation as "Nate Robinson fanboy." The little man from the 206 led the charge again last night, scoring 30 points--14 in the fourth quarter and overtime--in a Knicks victory over defensive-minded Detroit. (This is one night after he scored 10 points in the last 5 minutes to beat Milwaukee.)

Despite having unloaded much of their top talent to clear salary cap space for a potential signing of LeBron James in 2010, the Knicks are now just 1.5 games out of the playoffs, thanks in no small part to "Krypto-Nate." If this keeps up, we may have to start an online campaign to get him the MVP award. It would, of course, be totally absurd, but so is a 5'9" shooting guard dominating the league--and saluting his gaming buddies and celebrating with Will Ferrell all the while.
