Did Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill create his own pot arrest--two baggies with less than an ounce total in a Buick Electra with a busted taillight in a search he consented to--in order to dissuade the Seahawks from giving him the franchise tag and thus enable him negotiate a long-term deal elsewhere? Somewhere closer to his home in the South, somewhere he wouldn't be in the shadow of Lofa Tatupu and Julian Peterson?

I'm supposed to believe that a dude as rich as Leroy Hill is rolling around with less than an ounce of weed? Two bags and less than an ounce?
And the taillight? Honestly, it's like his agent took a baseball bat to the car he bought for $1700 from the junkyard. "Let's just make sure you get pulled over."
This is far from our area of expertise, but from what we can tell, the Electra is not one of those giant old cars that people like to pimp out. After all, it was an Electra that Mix-a-Lot drove in the "My Hooptie" video:
