Computers Love the Huskies, Despite Their Recent Losses. Humans Aren't So Sure.

The polls are out.

After losing two of their last four, the Huskies have dropped out of the AP top 25, receiving votes that would put them at 27th. The coaches' poll, which was slower to give them a ranking, has the Huskies at 24th.

The strange thing is that, despite their recent losses, the Dawgs continue to climb in the computer polls. They're now 18th in the RPI and 14th in Ken Pomeroy's computer's Pomeroy Ratings.

At least one human being understands Husky awesomeness: Joe Lunardi is projecting the Dawgs as a 5 seed in the tournament, and has six Pac-10 teams making the field.
