Rap star Lil Romeo's Clark Kent gig is as a freshman point guard for the University of Southern California. There, he is known as Percy Miller, and he rarely makes it off the pine. Last night, in the Trojans' road loss to the Huskies, he was merely a spectator, although he was only slightly less productive on the bench as UW superstar Jon Brockman (3 points on 0-8 shooting) was off it.
While it's admirable that Lil Romeo's currently got no beef with his basketball career carrying on in relative obscurity, we wonder how long the multimillionaire son of a multimillionaire rapper/producer (Master P, himself no slouch on the wood) can handle being glued to the pine before he "pulls a Senque" and transfers to the University of Hawaii to be closer to his Florida home. And we can only imagine how 'lil dude (5'10") feels about travling in a bus instead of a limo and having to share a locker room. Incidentally, another Lil, Wayne, will rock KeyArena Sunday.
