The Times' F Barrier

fu.jpeg
If you go to the Seattle Times search engine and enter the word "fuck," up come four results - all from the P-I, all in  2007, all in music reviews. If you search for "fucking" in the Times electronic library, up come two results - both from the P-I, both in 2008, and both in the opinion section.

That's why it was a bit surprising to read this in the Monday Times about strip clubs:

Guys looking at girls and

being happy. Pretttty horrrrrrible, people spending money in your area

during a recession/depression. OHHHHHKAAAAAAAAAAYYYY we'll say no and

wait for the underground economy to crop up. crack houses! wont that be

cool? and i'm sure in your seattle "liberal" minds, the 2 are joined at

the hip, right? better not finish reading this, skip or muffy is

waiting with fresh starbucks and maybe a super low fat mostly air

pastry. gonna stop here cause i dont even fucking care.

OK, so it's a reader's comment. But it's in the Times, or was, last we looked. Curiously, just above that entry, was another by the same author that has been removed by the web censor. Man, what did that one say?
