After three years and hundreds of thousands of tax dollars spent on appeals, would-be Millennium  terrorist Ahmed Ressam was re-given his 22-year sentence today in Seattle. The government said it would appeal.

Ressam recanted earlier testimony he'd given that helped the U.S. in other cases, but federal Judge John Coughenour told him, effectively, too late: he was getting a break anyway.
