Crowd: Crowd might be a bit of a stretch, there were maybe 8 or 9 people under the red and blue streamers at the Pioneer Square night spot.
Party: According to a note on all knowing Facebook, movered.org--a group of young Republicans planned to meet here.
Mood: Can mostly empty bar be a mood?
Outstanding Quote: "I'm proud of who I voted for." "You wouldn't be if you lived in Oklahoma."
So it's possible I misread the note and no Republican party was actually set for the J&M, but I did find a McCain supporter among the sparse drinkers. Scott, last name withheld, donned a grey Izod v-neck with a blue dress shirt and met his friend Dan Rubinsky, a nappy brown sweater wearing Democrat, for Winterhook Ale on neutral ground. Scott didn't know anything about other Republicans joining him in Pioneer Square, but he was quick to note that not only did he vote for McCain and Rossi, he was able to celebrate with his dear friend Rubinsky. Interestingly they both voted against the parks levy. Rubinsky because he thought it was a bad time to raise money for new projects and Scott because he was afraid any tax hikes would become permanent.
