This Seattle-based stock photo agency, used by Seattle Weekly and many other local publications, could sell for as much as $1.5 billion. Interestingly, its chief rival, the smaller Corbis Images, is also based in Seattle. And the owner of privately held Corbis, Bill Gates, probably has $1.5 billion in small change in his couch. Do we smell merger?
