No one's saying how many millions of dollars RealNetworks' Rob Glaser might have had to eat to make it happen. But bankrupt Air America Radio, the lefty network that owed its former CEO Glaser around $10 million, has a buyer, AAR announced yesterday. A letter of sales intent was signed with SLG Radio, run by commerical realtor Stephen Green, brother of liberal activist/candidate Mark Green, who has also been an Air America host. Sales terms weren't announced but Stephen Green is providing immediate money to Democracy Allies LLC, which has been funding Air America during its bankruptcy proceeding. The network also says it's losing its on-air headliner, Al Franken, effective Valentine's Day, as he prepares to make a likely run for Congress. He'll be replaced by Portland-based Thom Hartmann in the late afternoon slot.
