Forbes Says Zune Sucks

And fails to credit Shapiro's scoop.

Piling on to a negative review of Microsoft's belated attempt to ape iPod in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com is now trashing Zune -- without ever having used it. To wit, Forbes' David M. Ewalt argues: "I don't have to handle a dead fish to know it's going to stink, and to see that Microsoft has made some perplexingly stupid decisions." Fair enough, but at least Ewalt should give credit where credit is due: the Weekly's own Nina Shapiro was among the first reporters -- if not the first -- to get a sneak peek at the gadget and its roll-out strategy.
