Best Dance Class: Century Ballroom

The people have spoken.

It’s always fun to watch people “go over the top in the Lindy Hop,” but it’s even better to soar yourself. If you want to step beyond keeping the beat at a party or a club, the teachers at the Century Ballroom will help you find your feet. Classes range from your grandparents’ swing dance to contemporary Latin styles like salsa and bachata, and social dance nights give you a chance to show off your skills in an old-school night club setting. 915 E Pine St., 324-7263

First runner-up: Velocity Hip Hop

Second runner-up: Dance West Seattle

Honorable mention: Salsa Con Todo, DanceMob With Lasara
