Best Chocolatier: Theo Chocolate

The people have spoken.

Do these words make your mouth water: peanut butter cup? Salted caramel? Chili dark? Go ahead, grab a napkin to dry off. Then go ahead and get over to Theo for a chocolate tour. While the magic there isn’t quite the same as with Willy Wonka, you do get hella samples and what more do you need? Founded in 2006, the chocolate factory will teach you all about their fair trade and organic chocolate-making processes, making it also one of the best places to bring first-time visitors to the city. 2400 Phinney Ave. N., 632-5100

First runner-up: Fran’s

Second runner-up: Seattle Chocolates
