Fremont Fair

Come summer, Fremont's official motto, "Delibertus Quirkus" ("Freedom to be Peculiar"), comes to life at the Fremont Fair. Attracting thousands of revelers each year, the charming street festival and accompanying solstice parade feature fire dancers, giant puppets, and nude cyclists, among other eccentricities. For those accustomed to festival offerings like fried elephant ears and mediocre arts and crafts, the Fremont Fair is not only a beloved tradition, but a breath of fresh air.
