There's something to be said for the cliché about following cabbies to find the best, cheapest food in any city. As evidence, exhibit #1: Mawadda Café, where owner Rami Al-Jebori serves a good number of cab drivers, and a whole lot of those smart enough to follow these knowing scouts to Hillman City, with the hands-down greatest gyros in the city, probably the state, and possibly the entire Northwest. The place is small (with just a few tables and very limited stool seating by the windows) and the menu both simple and strange (offering just a few different combination plates of chicken, pitas, falafel, lamb, and rice), but you have to be willing to look beyond that and realize that some places are small simply because they do one thing better than anyone else.
