After a revealing Fourth of July weekend, I'm not so sure that socks and sandals have faded away sufficiently to require a comeback. Still, nothing sticks it to the man quite like Tevas over GoldToes. In many ways, this is the mullet of footwear, a multipurpose ensemble that gets disrespected until it comes in handy, like that night at the Gorge that gets a little too chilly, or that rush out the door that can't wait for lacing up a pair. Unlike dudes piercing their left ears, this is one '90s throwback that deserves to be rescued from punch-line status.?Chris Kornelis
