Best Way to Keep Your Cougar Pride in Seattle

Redline Music and Sports

The Washington State Cougars may be outnumbered in this city, but we sure as hell aren't outdone, thanks to Scott Goerig. The Wazzu graduate opened Redline Music and Sports last year to ensure his fellow Cougs had a watering hole on this side of the state offering their staples: cheap drinks, hot wings, and the occasional toga party. The Redline fills up with everyone from recent grads to those retired from the workforce, all decked out in Coug gear on game days—even Goerig's dog rocks a jersey. Be prepared for August 30, when the Cougs kick off football season playing the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Goerig pays for a party bus to make hourly runs between the bar and Qwest Field during the game so that no Coug has to suffer the injustice of being designated driver.—Erika Hobart
