But somehow—by some miracle—the party poopers who drafted the list of 23 beer and malt-liquor products banned in neighborhoods like Capitol Hill and the Central District missed adding Big Bear. Maybe it was the ferocious bear defending the 40-oz. bottles brought to you by the folks responsible for good ol' PBR. Maybe the potency police thought the strong scent (is it bear feces?) emanating from the bottle would scare folks away from this 7.5-percent-alcohol-by-volume, $2.39-per-bottle buzz.
