Looking for a way to destress, I took a four-week knitting class at Hilltop Yarn. It really is like meditating with your hands, and I even have a new hat to show for my effort. I'm working on a scarf now, though, I've lost a little of my motivation to work with wool since it's been so damn hot. If only you could knit with linen ...

Anyway, Katherine Kuster has a firm grasp on making more than just winter wear. She knitted and felted the super-cute bag being modeled here by the crafty diva herself. Kuster made the tote out of Manos del Uruguay yarn, which she said is known for maintaining its rich color.
