THURSDAY, JAN. 10: Hangin' @ the Lo-Fi
We'll start our weekend wrap with a report from Thursday evening, courtesy of our new intern, Jacob Casey.

Yes, the Lo-Fi is the embodiment of the very cool loft parties that you suspect are happening all the time but will probably never get invited to. Like discovering what scene your older sister is really into, you’ll probably enjoy the casual, but impeccably dressed, party vibe. Read the full report here.

The Ballard Burlesque & Variety Show

Our shooter, Damien M. Jones, caught up with the party at The Tractor Tavern. Catch his entire slideshow here.

Also Friday night, our music columnist, Hannah Levin, hung out with a member of her favorite boy band, Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead. He was playing with his new band Head Cat. Read Hannah's full report here.

SATURDAY, JAN. 12

Damien M. Jones and his camera were out again on Saturday, hitting up two Rat City Rollergirls parties. The above shot is of Throttle Rockets' "A Booty Shakin' Pirate Party," at The Funhouse. Below is a shot of Grave Danger"s "night of pure video game carnage" at the Rendezvous.

Shelby Lynn at The Triple Door, Nov. 5.

Managing Editor Mike Seely used his day of rest to pour over The New York Times Magazine. In it, he found an article about Shelby Lynne, set primarily in Seattle and at a show Mr. Seely was at. Read about it here.
