Combining Seattle trumpeter McCullough and Antwerp-based pianist Weijters along with drummer John Bishop and bassist Chuck Deardorf, this promises to be a night of lyrical, nuanced, and majestic jazz. It was this lineup that recorded the February 2011 release Imaginary Sketches; hearing how the music has developed since then should be a real treat. BEN MORROW
