Ferris Bueller's Day Off

John Hughes’ often-quoted 1986 teen comedy makes excellent use of Matthew Broderick’s slightly corrupt charm (and a certain 1961 Ferrari 250GT California). Without rising to the ’80s-defining level of Sixteen Candles, this is the thoroughly enjoyable Hughes flick that also made Ben Stein’s career. “Anyone? Anyone?” Call or see theater Web site for showtimes. (PG-13) BRIAN MILLER
