On their fifth release, At Echo Lake, Brooklyn psychedelic folksters Woods continue their joyous study of the art of stylist juxtaposition. Not content to let their pretty tunes stand alone, front man/founder Jeremy Earl and company always throw an unexpected curveball listeners way. A single electric guitar line suddenly wails over what was a clean, acoustic melody.
