Twist is stylish without taking itself too seriously. The Belltown bar is decorated in purple and black, with urban art on the walls and a revolving pig-shaped disco ball in the lounge. Its extensive happy-hour menu features $3 wine and $6 cocktails (order the pomegranate martini), along with tasty treats like ice-cream sandwiches and mac ‘n’ cheese with crab. Best of all, it’s available for eight hours (4 p.m. to midnight)–that’s a happy day! Sip and nosh to an eclectic, ’90s-fueled soundtrack of Gorillaz, the Eurythmics, and Oasis. By midnight, you should feel daring enough to ask an attractive cocktail server for his or her number. If your advance is rebuffed, who cares?
