Papercuts paint a hazy, folk-psychedelia landscape with an elegant and shimmering touch that commands your undivided attention. On their latest release, Cant Go Home, singer/songwriter/guitarist Jason Quevers gentle, lovelorn confessions and reverb-caked warbles weave through the dreamy and uplifting mix of acoustic guitars, organ, bass, bells, and softly beaten drums. The last time they rolled through town, thier set suffered due to a faulty mix from the board. Lets hope the Crocodiles legendary sound guru, Jim Anderson, is able to provide Papercuts and the city of Seattle with a beautiful, magical show they deserve.
