Mel Brooks’ send-up of several Hitchcock movies (The Birds, Marnie, etc.) is fitfully funny at best. But it’s still better than most comedies opening this week. Madeline Kahn, Cloris Leachman, and Harvey Korman all provide memorable supporting work. (PG) BRIAN MILLER
