Marcella Hazan

One of the most beloved Italian cooks of our day, Marcella Hazan comes to Chateau Ste. Michelle to celebrate the release of her memoir, Amarcord: Marcella Remembers. Hazan has been graced with lifetime achievement awards from both the James Beard Foundation and the International Association of Culinary Professionals; she was also granted a knighthood by Italy, her home country. She is best known for her bestselling, accessible cookbooks, the first of which was published in the States in 1973. Marcella and her husband (and longtime collaborator) Victor will attend this Cooks & Books event, a multicourse meal inspired by her recipes.
