If someone told you Cynthia Greigs images were digitally untouched photos, youd call them a liar. You probably would swear they were drawings rather than photographs. But, really, the shots in Greigs Representations series havent been Photoshopped in order to look so great. Instead, she painted them white, drew on the edges with charcoal and graphite, and arranged them against a white set. A master of illusions, Greigs other work in her exhibit, Objectivity (through Oct. 4), humorously places miniature objects among life-size environments that include human fingers and eyes,. Keep those eyes open, though, because Greig makes an exception in her photo Condom when she places a microscopic rubber next to the real deal. Lets hope both werent used.
