Movies at the Mural

After filmgoers were polled at last year’s Movies at the Mural outdoor screening series, they voted that 1987’s The Princess Bride should again be featured, meaning that picnickers tonight will likely be joining with Mandy Patinkin to declare, “My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” Rob Reiner’s 1987 adaptation of the William Goldman children’s story is a PG-rated family favorite, with a delightful cast that also includes Robin Wright Penn, Andre the Giant, Cary Elwes, and Wallace Shawn. Saturday brings the Oscar-winning Juno. Next weekend features The Goonies, Batman Begins, and a special midnight screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which promises to attract fans who know every word of the script—and may also dress in character.
