Norwegians, seafarers, fishermen, and regular folk alike will be heading to the Ballard SeafoodFest this weekend to feast on fin-flippin freshness. Only true Seattleites will be able to appreciate the star of the showa host of succulent alder-smoked salmon being prepared on the street by seasoned grillers. Pair that with three stages of entertainment, including alt-rocker Chuck Prophet and the swingin Cajun jams of Etouffee. Therell also be a family stage, where painted dolls will appear courtesy of Welcome Marionettes and Clay Martins Puppets.
