Spunky quintet the Moondoggies have had an awesome year thus far. They just got signed to Sub Pops Hardly Art label and are busy working on a debut record slated for release this fall. They performed at Sasquatch last weekend alongside names like the Cure and R.E.M. But despite having come on the local music radar only recently, the Moondoggies have actually been a staple at the U Districts Blue Moon Tavern for a couple years now. Inspired by the likes of Neil Young and the Beatles, their sound is that of a bluesy country-rock band with a
crapload of harmonization. Not bad for some dudes from Everett and Brothel.
