Soft Rock Explosion

Who doesn’t love Patrick Swayze and ’80s soft rock? Err… plenty of people. But that hasn’t deterred Mark Siano and the Freedom Dancers from paying homage to both in Soft Rock Explosion, a cabaret-style show featuring, as Siano puts it, “a lot of ridiculously sexy people in ridiculously sexy outfits.” Basically, it’s Siano leading seven other dancers in a performance packed with Phil Collins sing-alongs (“Sussudio,” anyone?), spandex, and bad hair. Prepare for an overzealous evening of really, really gay dance numbers to songs you won’t publicly ’fess to knowing (but may secretly download later from iTunes). Chop Suey, 1325 E. Madison St., 1-800-838-3006, www.brownpapertickets.com/event/31655. 21 and older. $10. 8 p.m. ERIKA HOBART
