Girl Power Hour

We’ve all known the girl with long, unwashed hair and hemp everywhere who’s never shaved anything anywhere and couldn’t let go of trees. She was soooo totally not chic. But at Girl Power Hour’s latest themed gathering, Earth-loving ladies can learn to reconcile that granola lifestyle with the latest fashion trends. The women’s social networking group will be examining sustainable couture over organic cocktails, wine, and food at a venue built with recyclable materials. With eco-friendly swag bags for the first 50 green gals and other door prizes, this Power Hour will have more giveaways than Oprah. You’ll be calculating your carbon footprint, too, so you best shrink it by riding the bus, walking, or at least carpooling. (No valet parking though.) And, oh, no boys either.
