If that were the case, then we would have to build a Jail just for drinkers who drive. I say lock em up in a 12 month + Alcohol Rehab facility that might help the poor drunk. With all the fines and money he has had to owe the courts, he could have had his own personal full time taxi drive him from bar to bar.

I think DUI laws need to be changed. There is a grey zone when people drink....it's not illegal to drink and drive so long as you have not surpassed the legal limit. I think that there should be a .ooooooo legal limit. No tolerance when behind the wheel. A first offense = 30 days. A second = 90 days, a third = 1 year. NO questions asked. If you blow a .03 and are pulled over, you do the time.
