Justice

If you have the phrase "Do the dance . . . do the dance!" stuck in your head, it's probably the fault of French dance duo Justice, who are responsible for one of the best-reviewed albums of 2007, Cross. Cross is a little more "I will destroy you whilst making you want to dance your ass off" than Daft Punk or Calvin Harris, a ferocity that earned them two recent 2008 Plug Awards for Best New Artist/Best Dance Album of the year. But it ain't all cake for these guys; they had to downsize after being unable to fill Madison Square Garden. Where's the justice in that? With Diplo and Fancy. KARLA STARR
