White Magic + PWRFL Power

Mira Billotte, vocalist and pianist for psych-folk outfit White Magic, once played in Quix*o*tic with her sister (and Slant 6 member) Christina; now she tours as a duo with guitarist Sleepy Doug Shaw. Billotte’s unique alto twists precociously around vowels on the enchanting full-length Dat Rosa Mel Apibus. Touring for her latest EP, Dark Stars, on Drag City, she’s a perfect match for local songbird Johanna Kunin and Master experimentalist Kazu Nomura, AKA PWRFL Power.
