It’s likely that Seattle band Feral Children’s frontman, Jim Cotton, who recently noted frustration over the high concentration of Northwest musicians who play “fucking California pop,” won’t be at this show. Little Penguins’ jangly guitars and light yet lush sound are a far cry from overcast basement rock, and Moondoggies ascribe to a ’70s sound that could hitch a ride on a Heartworn Highway and take it all the way to Topanga Canyon. Junior League headlines.
