Fantastic Playroom, the debut from this fun London five-piece, will make you want to sing, dance, and then break out the old, better LPs it stylistically mines. ESG, Blondie, Gang of Four, the Slits—it’s all in the mix, but done really well and with the attitude of Elastica’s Justine Frischmann (in vocalist Tahita Bulmer’s alternately excited and deadpan delivery) as the cherry on top.
