So…last week we recommended heading to Monroe for motoX and wet T-shirt contests…and all who averted their eyes are hereby invited to the last weekend of the Evergreen State Fair, a family-friendlier event. The monster trucks and country crooners have gone home, but there’s still plenty of music, NASCAR, and mini-horses to keep you entertained during your trip to the boonies. Sunday even features the unusual lineup of ice sculpting, tap dancing, a rodeo, and a demolition derby! Go nuts, but just remember your training (everybody was 12 once): funnel cakes and the drop tower don’t mix.
