FARM FRESH Three Saturday farmers markets open this weekend, in Magnolia, Des Moines, and Kent. At the stalls this week, expect to find the first strawberries of the season, as well as asparagus and lemon balm. The Magnolia market operates 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Magnolia Community Center, 2550 34th Ave. W.; the Des Moines Waterfront market is open 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Des Moines Marina; and the Kent market runs 9 a.m.–2 p.m. at Fourth Avenue and Smith Street. FALL CITY Snoqualmie Gourmet Ice Cream hosts a party, complete with a tour of the ice-cream factory, to benefit Children's Hospital.
