Seattle Weekly PickPacific Northwest Quiltfest It's pretty amazing what fiber artists are doing these days with Grandma's old hobby. This seventh annual event showcases judged and juried quilts and garments by 270 artists from the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada in a weekend of lectures, vendor booths, and an auction. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Fri. Seattle Weekly PickWest Edge Sculpture Invitational You may have noticed sculptures sprouting along the waterfront. This is the third annual effort by a coalition of sculptors and art-lovers to bring the work of 29 artists (such as Ann Morris, Phillip Levine, and Gerard Tsutakawa) to the pedestrians around Benaroya Hall and the Harbor Steps for the next three months.
