Located in the old Romper Room space and holding the distinction of being the city's first nonsmoking bar, the Watertown provides fine opportunities for ensconcing oneself in a high-backed, cushy booth and easing the transition between day and night with a large and lovely cocktail. Or if you'd rather, it's a great place to go after you've gotten soused at Peso's and you want to get your groove on—and, possibly, get some new digits to program into your cell. Watertown hosts a DJ five nights a week (it's closed on Sundays and Mondays) and keeps the dance floor open at all times.
