Even if our government were more reality-based, it might not be able to do enough to save us from the innumerable Armageddons heading our way. But it sure would be nice to know that our leaders had a clue. Bush stubbornly refuses to read newspapers, but perhaps some loyal aide might be willing to read to him from the burgeoning literature of disaster.
