Harbour Public House

If you're tan, athletic, single, and able to tie a Bos'n's knot, you've probably already had a Hale's or two at the Harbour Public House after tying up outside at the Harbour Marina on Bainbridge. Underneath warm wood beams, just this side of Eagle Harbor, sailors of all varieties meet for what the Harbour calls "pub fusion" fare (e.g., coffee-seared salmon and tequila lime chicken breast), or just an Angus burger and some fish and chips. The full bar, integrated into the woodsy dining room, is stocked with top-shelf liquors, but microbrews rule the room. Expect something like Modest Mouse or the Dave Matthews Band from the speakers, and expect the service to be downright neighborly. And if you're going to try the "Pass the Grey Poupon" line on the cute crew member at the table next to yours, don't blame us if it doesn't exactly fly. 231 Parfitt Way S.W., 206-842-0969.
