Off the Cuff

The Seattle Festival of Alternative Dance and Improvisation is a very long way to refer to a very exciting series featuring a critical mass of artists who have been dancing and teaching everywhere but in the mainstream. SFADI offers Off the Cuff, a pair of dance concerts, as well as a panel discussion that looks in on the process with local and imported talent. Visitors like Wendell Beavers, Nina Martin, and K.J. Holmes, among others, join home team players Karl Frost, Tonya Lockyer, KT Niehoff, and Alia Swersky for two different programs full of twisty, tricky dancing.
