Performance Pick

Wooden O Theatre

It's been ten years of battling iffy weather and presumably the occasional drunk heckler, yet the artists at Wooden O are out and ready to brave an eleventh engagement of free Shakespeare in the park for your summer enjoyment. The company travels all over Puget Sound with the Bard in tow, including stops in Sammamish, Lynnwood, Sea Tac, Shoreline, and Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill. The season opens on Mercer Island with the romance of Love's Labour's Lost, and out in Issaquah with the tragedy of Julius Caesar (featuring Paul Mullin, left, as the leader mourned by Garlyn Punao's Antony). Love's Labour's Lost: 7 p.m. Thurs. July 8-Fri. July 9 at Luther Burbank Park Amphitheater, Mercer Island; 7 p.m. Sat. July 10 at Mercerdale Park, Mercer Island. Julius Caesar: 7 p.m. Fri. July 9-Sat. July 10 at Issaquah Community Center, Issaquah. www.woodeno.org. for complete schedule. Ends Wed. Aug. 4. STEVE WIECKING
