Call it Neo-Burlesque, call it New Vaudeville, call it whatever you want—the bawdy-talking, bold-looking, occasionally gender-bending bravado of our theatrical past is back with a vengeance on Seattle stages. We captured our own private show at the ever-fabulous Re-bar for a colorful look at the latest in local style.

Chiffon "Manon" petal dress (price available on request) at Madina Vadache; French Connection floral print skirt ($112) at Les Amis; silver cuff bracelets ($275) at Isadora's; pink flower headband, pink beaded sandals, pink necklace, and matching earring set (prices available on request) at Luly Yang.

She flies through the air with the greatest of ease—and seems to scale the heights of fashion without too much problem, either. Tamara "the Trapeze Lady" displays her own high style in weekly shows at the Pink Door restaurant and Club Medusa.

"Anastasia" dress (price available on request) at Madina Vadache; lemon yellow drape-neck top ($124) and green bangles ($22 each) at BGN Paris; silk brocade Asian-style sling-back pumps ($385) and gold pillbox hat (price available on request) at Luly Yang; yellow fishnet tights ($18) at Nordstrom; green chiffon wrap (price available on request) at Madina Vadache; green flower purse (price available on request) at Luly Yang; Katherine Collection beaded evening bag ($65) at Enexile.

They're playing peekaboo here, but you can see a lot more of coquettish Kitten LaRue (left) and mustache-twirling Fanny N' Flames when the pair brings the Atomic Bombshells Burlesque to the Mirabou Room later this month.

On Kitten: Edward An ballet dress ($282) at Les Amis; blue slide sandals and hat (prices available on request) at Luly Yang. Inset: Hugo Boss leather jacket ($895) at David Lawrence; sequin embroidered bag (price available on request) at Luly Yang; organza "Lucia" sleeve used as hand muff (price available on request) at Madina Vadache.

On Fanny: Tahari suit jacket ($398) and pants ($228) at Nordstrom; green stretch shirt ($49.50) at Express Men; black button corset vest ($109.50) at BGN Paris; leather croc embossed gloves ($9) at Club Monaco; black felt fedora ($275) and gator shoes ($350) at Isadora's; Paul Smith floral print tie ($102.50) at David Lawrence. Inset: Jungar green trench coat ($568) at Les Amis. Peri Austrian panels as backdrop ($50 each) from Bed Bath and Beyond.

Eddie Arnold III is a self-proclaimed superstar, tae kwon do master, and model with Heffner Management. We added him to our cast because . . . well, look at him. His tattoo translates as "To Protect God's People." We feel safe.

Lemon yellow stretch knickers ($177) at BGN Paris; brown stud cuff ($110) at David Lawrence; Tomissini medallion necklace worn on wrist ($96) at Enexile. Inset: Diesel burnt-red jacket ($76) at Zebra Club; Versace Jeans Couture red mesh T-shirt hanging off waist ($120) at David Lawrence. In the audience: vintage mother-of-pearl opera glasses ($475) at Isadora's.

The Atomic Bombshells' Fanny dropped the man drag for this command performance. Bravo.

Silk Asian brocade corset (price available on request) by Marie Cooley at the Fitting Room; Calvin Klein fishnet tank top (prices vary) and briefs (prices vary) at Nordstrom; bra and shoes, model's own.

What can we say that hasn't already been said about Robert Lopez, aka El Vez? The veteran performer and Teatro ZinZanni headliner even has a Mexican restaurant bearing his name in Philadelphia. We're just happy he's never lost his ability to look like this.

Paul Smith tie ($122.50), suit jacket ($585), and pants ($305) at David Lawrence; blue stretch shirt ($49.50) at Express Men; vest ($250), retro sterling ring ($1,300) and retro gold and diamond ring on stacked pinky ($675) at Isadora's; blue stone Superstar ring ($54), Wild Things silver rings ($56 each), Classic Hardware necklace ($48), and La Vic 1506 pocket watch locket ($54) at Enexile.
