Call it Neo-Burlesque, call it New Vaudeville, call it whatever you want—the bawdy-talking, bold-looking, occasionally gender-bending bravado of our theatrical past is back with a vengeance on Seattle stages. We captured our own private show at the ever-fabulous Re-bar for a colorful look at the latest in local style.

She flies through the air with the greatest of ease—and seems to scale the heights of fashion without too much problem, either. Tamara "the Trapeze Lady" displays her own high style in weekly shows at the Pink Door restaurant and Club Medusa.

They're playing peekaboo here, but you can see a lot more of coquettish Kitten LaRue (left) and mustache-twirling Fanny N' Flames when the pair brings the Atomic Bombshells Burlesque to the Mirabou Room later this month.

Eddie Arnold III is a self-proclaimed superstar, tae kwon do master, and model with Heffner Management. We added him to our cast because . . . well, look at him. His tattoo translates as "To Protect God's People." We feel safe.

What can we say that hasn't already been said about Robert Lopez, aka El Vez? The veteran performer and Teatro ZinZanni headliner even has a Mexican restaurant bearing his name in Philadelphia. We're just happy he's never lost his ability to look like this.
