Happy Hour!

Fire and Ice Lounge The Sex and the City girls could have a field day here. The lounge is urban cool and, lucky for you, all but undiscovered as a happy hour destination. Service is right on cue—there when you need it, gone when you don't (and cute at that). Well drinks are $3.50, draft beers are $2.50, and a different specialty cocktail is offered nightly—recently a cosmo went for $4.50. The drinks are pretty but the incredible bar bites are the real draw; the full-size appetizer dishes are all $5 each. Chevre-whipped potatoes with aged fig balsamic vinegar and white truffle oil is as good as it sounds. The fontina cheese and prosciutto melt on a toasted baguette with house salad and herbed frites is large enough to be a meal. Also try the mini pepper-crusted ahi tuna sandwiches and mini chuck burgers with grilled onions. All $5! 4–7 p.m. and 10 p.m.–1 a.m. daily. 1921 First Ave., 206-443-1921.
