Yarrow Bay Beach Café at the Point

Delicious food is a good thing. Inexpensive food is a good thing. What's better is food that's both delicious and inexpensive. Yarrow Bay Beach Café started offering three-course, prix-fixe versions of its award-winning Northwest fare for cheap as a special holiday offer in December. The promotion's popularity convinced the restaurant to keep it going through the new year and, judging by the throngs of hungry diners filling the window-lined, waterfront dining room these days, this offer isn't ending anytime soon. Last month, the Beach Cafe practically gave away its three-course, 16-ounce porterhouse steak dinner for $24.99—that's a salad or clam chowder, the gargantuan slab of beef topped with a fantastic chardonnay butter and accompanied by mashed sweet potatoes, plus diner's choice of an incredible, delectable, unforgettable dessert, all for 25 bucks. This month it's all crab, all the time. After salad or chowder, diners will be further sated with a pound of steamed red king crab legs with drawn butter and sides, and all will be crowned with one of those awe-inspiring desserts. All for $24.99. Now that's a real deal meal. 1270 Carillon Pt., 425-889-0303. KIRKLAND
